Hochfilzer & Ariens at the US Biathlon Team Fitting Day

Where elite sport meets strong partnerships

In mid-November 2025, the US Biathlon National Team gathered at Maloja’s headquarters in Rimsting, Germany for their official Fitting Day. The event, hosted by the team’s official outfitter Maloja, marked the presentation of the new World Cup and Olympic apparel to the athletes—less than two weeks before the Biathlon World Championships kick off in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.

Among the partners present were Hochfilzer GmbH & Co. KG, distributor of Ariens products in Austria, and Stephen Ariens, Chief Revenue Officer of AriensCo. Together, they joined the team and Maloja for this inspiring and insight-rich day. Maloja, known for its fresh design language and sustainable outdoor wear, provided the perfect backdrop for this high-level gathering of innovation, preparation, and shared values.

Supporting performance on and off the snow

AriensCo, the company behind the Ariens brand, has been a proud partner of the US Biathlon Team since 2019. Its commitment extends far beyond branding. At the event, Stephen Ariens represented the company’s long-term support for the sport, rooted in shared values: precision, endurance, and continuous development.

Ronald Hrnecek, Managing Director of Hochfilzer GmbH & Co. KG, highlighted the value of this partnership:

“It was a special experience to be part of this day. Gaining insight into the work of a high-performance team and exchanging ideas with these motivated athletes was both exciting and inspiring. We wish the US Team a successful season and the best of luck at the Olympic Games.”

Through its Austrian distributor Hochfilzer, Ariens products are made available to professional and private users in the Alpine region—where performance, reliability, and precision are non-negotiable. It’s no coincidence that these same traits define success in biathlon.

The Ariens Nordic Center: Where elite training becomes everyday

What connects Ariens even more deeply to the sport is its investment in world-class infrastructure. The Ariens Nordic Center, located in Brillion, Wisconsin, is a purpose-built biathlon and cross-country ski facility designed in partnership with the US Biathlon Association. With a 5K lighted trail system, 20-point Kurvinen Biathlon Target System, roller-ski loops, and snowmaking technology, the center serves both Olympians and local enthusiasts.

It reflects AriensCo’s belief in creating environments that allow talent to thrive—whether on snow or in business. Just like its outdoor power equipment, the Nordic Center is built with long-term performance in mind, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sport, sustainability, and community.

Shared values, shared goals

For AriensCo, supporting biathlon is more than a sponsorship. It’s a reflection of its brand identity. Just like athletes trust their skis and rifles, professionals in landscaping, municipalities, and maintenance trust Ariens Zero-Turn mowers and snow removal equipment to deliver under pressure.

With the 2025 season ahead and the Olympic Games on the horizon, Ariens stands alongside the US Biathlon Team—not just in name, but in spirit. Precision, performance, preparation: these are the values that drive us all forward.
